Nice Soap Rack!

Here's what's happening, or rather curing at Crater Lake Company...

I've been busy making soap and tinkering with my recipes since we opened. These vegetarian soaps are made with saponified oils of olive, coconut, palm and castor. The few that are curing and featured above are just a sample of what we may have available by mid-August. I'm still making more (and open to any requests you have) since some bars are already spoken for. Some of you may have also received samples of either Lemongrass or Tangerine Breeze in your orders. I'm making very small batches, some as small as 2.5 lbs, which means I'll have a limited number up for sale in August. This weekend, I plan to make the following - Honeysuckle Fizz, Mary Contrary, possibly Sweet Cream & Lavender (if I have enough oils left), another batch of Pop Star Candy and one of these 2 Lvsh dupes - Honey I Washed the Kids or Snow Cake. Again, please get your requests in if you'd like me to make a batch in a particular scent.

As you can see, I may have my soapmaking mojo back, but I'm out of practice when it comes to handcutting the little buggers. My hand-eye coordination is still a little shaky so the sizes vary from 3 oz to 5 oz. Argh!

I'm also working on possibly 2 new products which I'll launch in the Fall. Both will be additions to our Hair Care line.

Oh, and although it seems so far away, I'm already working on CLC's Halloween & Fall/Winter scent releases.

I found that I'm suffering from a case of Analysis Paralysis as I try to figure out what scents you'd like to see featured in our soaps. So you know what? You tell me what you'd like me to make.
