Amber Moon (Another CLC Creation) *NEW* Fall 2011 Collection: Amber Moon is warm, golden and honeylike, all the qualities we know and love about amber. We added the deep base notes of oakmoss to ground the blend and enhance amber's earthiness. A lustful dash of french vanilla suggests of a yearning in the form of a torrid romance. Deep, glowing and oozing of sensuality, this is indeed, the calling card of romance.
Buttery Maple Frosting (Another CLC Creation) *NEW* Autumn Hearth Collection: What's that you say? We had you at "buttery?" This delicious blend combines rich butterscotch, sweet maple syrup and creamy caramel sauce and folds it into a freshly whipped bowl of marshmallow cream frosting. Crushed maple candy and a drizzle of buttery syrup complete this sinful blend.
Candied Apples (Another CLC Creation) *NEW* Fall 2011 Collection: This ain't just any candied apple sniff folks. Bite-size chunks of red delicious apples dipped in a butterscotch maple glaze then rolled in cinnamon sugar. There's character to the fragrance and a certain depth not usually found in such a playful scent. It morphs on the skin, being fruity one minute and turning creamy and sweet the next. Rich and satisfying, this blend makes no bones about our sick obsession with buttery notes.
Chocolate Marble Bread (Another CLC Creation) *NEW* Autumn Hearth 2011 Collection: A soft and simple chocolate scent that works beautifully on its own, but also does a good job complementing other fragrances. If you fancy yourself an olfactory gourmand, then you're in for a treat...and an education. Truly unlike any chocolate fragrance you've ever experienced, Chocolate Marble Bread is soft, subtle and languid. To the nose, it's simply that. Creme de Marrons (Another CLC Creation) *NEW* Autumn Hearth Collection: Our newest scent for fall is absolutely swoon-worthy, thanks to the creative genius of our friend Justine (yes the same Justine who came up with some of last year's best selling Fall scents). Creme de Marrons or Chestnut Cream is a delicious blend of pureed chestnuts, brown sugar and vanilla extract. Our version goes a bit more heavy handed on a buttery vanilla note we recently discovered to make it warmer and richer for Fall. Rich, warm and just oh-so comforting.
Falling Leaves (Another CLC Creation) *NEW* Autumn Hearth 2011 Collection: Redolent of an afternoon walk on an Autumn day, this fragrance combines the scent of newly raked grass, freshly fallen leaves, smoke from a warm fireplace and a brisk passing breeze. Falling Leaves is the perfect Autumn fragrance. One sniff and you're transported to your favourite street ready to embark on your walk. Loaded with such deep sensory triggers, it almost manages to transport you to this experience and convince you that if you listen carefully enough, you can hear the rustle of leaves and twigs as a crisp Autumn breeze blows by.
Handful of Herbs (Another CLC Creation) *NEW* Fall 2011 Collection: For those who prefer the scent of bergamot over brownies and cilantro over caramel, here's a special treat for you. Handful of Herbs pays homage to anyone blessed with a green thumb. Bright bergamot notes greet your nose followed by middle notes of ginger, sage and melon. The star of the show is the mildly peppery scent of tarragon that's present throughout to give the blend some body and lift. Oakmoss and musk conclude the composition to a drydown that, in spite of its "green" notes, is mellow and laidback.
Lady Marmaladey (A CLC Collaboration Creation) *NEW* Autumn Hearth 2011 Collection: Though the temperature is dropping, it's never too cold to strut it like you're Lady Marmalade! Lemon Crunch Pound Cake (Another CLC Creation) *NEW* Autumn Hearth 2011 Collection: A rich buttery pound cake scent is like the little black dress of comfort fragrances. While always a classic on its own, we accessorised this scent with a dollop of almond lemon cream and the result is divine. Never taking away from pound cake's richness, the lemon notes add just a touch of zest to amplify the sweetness while bitter almond extract acts as an anchor to bring the entire composition together.
Monkey Bread (A CLC Collaboration Creation) *NEW* Autumn Hearth 2011 Collection: Inspired by a real recipe (here's my favourite version), our bottled version of this treat stays close to the original...but with a slight twist. Our sweet-obsessed mind concocted pumpkin biscuits soaked in a creamy caramel sauce before coating it in cimmanon-sugar. Nice right? A small pinch of rum-soaked raisins and a handful of pecans top off this treat.
Plumberry Toddy (Another CLC Creation) *NEW* Fall 2011 Collection: Smooth, sweet and buttery...the perfect drink to ward off winter's cold advances. Aged bourbon tinged with notes of oak, vanilla and musk is the perfect complement to the sweet scent of plum wine and berries. Like its namesake, this fragrance is unhurried and is meant to be savoured.
