New Scents

Spring 2010: This year's Spring Collection is centered around fresh blooms and luscious tropical fruits. Like always, we like to surprise you by adding unexpected twists to our blends (just wait till you smell the drydown of Lei Some Sugar on Me.) The fragrances in this collection signal the arrival of spring and lets us know that warm days are indeedjust around the corner.

21st Martini (Another CLC Creation) *NEW* Spring 2010 Collection: A sophisticated fruity blend made with rum, guava nectar, a splash of champagne and granished with a sugar cane stick. Floral notes of muguet lily, mimosa and sparkling bergamot are added like afterthoughts to enhance and up the sophistication factor. Crisp and decisive like a black power suit. Wear this with your hair in a tight chignon and some red lipstick.

Bloom Moon (Another CLC Creation) *NEW* Spring 2010 Collection: Inspired by my aunt's night garden in the Philippines, Bloom Moon is an ethereal and heady mix of white florals that release their fragrance only when the sun has set. Amaryllis, regal lilies and night-blooming jasmine form the sweet trinity that lies in the heart of this blend. Hints of dew-studded grass and the brisk night air adds depth to this sophisticated and unmistakably feminie blend.

Calabria (Another CLC Creation) *NEW* Spring 2010 Collection: Inspired by the famous citrus orchards and olive groves of Calabria, this blend evokes a vision of an afternnon stroll through an orange grove. The unmistakable scent of a fresh picked orange, with its sap still oozing, is this blend's center. In the distance, an accord of garden fresh red bell peppers, teakwood, olive leaf and sweet basil gives this blend its charm and character. Those looking for a green, slightly herbaceous citrus fragrance will be delighted.

Coquette (Another CLC Creation) *NEW* Spring 2010 Collection: Bananas and luscious berries swirl around rich coconut milk. None of the delightful tropical fruit notes in this blend become too overpowering or dominant. Each note plays flirtatiously on the skin, revealing itself through batted eyelashes, then settles demurely into the background. A subtle flirt of a fragrance that's bound to make a big impact.

Lei Some Sugar on Me (Another CLC Creation) *NEW* Spring 2010 Collection: Lei Some Sugar on Me is a seamless blend of exotic island florals, muscat and cabernet grapes and an unexpected splash of sweetness. This is a sophisticated treatment of the best grape fragrance we've come across. Almost-black muscat grapes, known for its sweet floral aroma, opens up to the blend's exotic frangipani heart. The drydown is divine, composed of sugar crystals, island blooms and the lingering sweetness of moscato wine. A CLC staff favourite.

Nude Musk (Another CLC Creation) Private Island Collection: Sultry and a little bit naughty, this blend is a collision of two scents that are both smooth in their own right, but so totally different. The combination of coconut milk and Egyptian musk concocts a vision of tanned skin glistening in the sun and all that is hot and sexy about discovering an unexplored corner of a paradise island.

Sunny Violets (Another CLC Creation) *NEW* Spring 2010 Collection: Here's an expected and grown-up twist on our favourite summer-time drink. Pink lemonade with floating watermelon chunks and wedges of orange, grapefruit and clementine is served chilled in a vanilla-sugar rimmed glass and decorated with violet petals. This blend never lists too far either way and defies the standard fruity-floral description. Casual and laidback, it strikes a perfect balance between bright citrus and sweet violet nectar.

Sunset Bellini (Another CLC Creation) *NEW* Spring 2010 Collection: A tribute to my bartending days...cranberry, peach and pineapple juice is poured in layers into a slender highball glass and topped off with champagne and a splash of coconut milk. The layered colours is reminiscent of a tropical sunset as the sun finally gets to take a dip into the cool blue ocean.

Sweet Bamboo & Cucumber (Another CLC Creation) *NEW* Spring 2010 Collection: A clean floral blend set against a green background of young bamboo shoots and fresh cucumber slices. Hints of roughly chopped peppermint, bergamot and grapefruit lends an airy quality to this blend and gives it some lift.

Tropic of Candy Corn (Another CLC Creation) *NEW* Spring 2010 Collection: In the candy-obsessed world of CLC, Tropic of Candy Corn lies just a little south of the equator and runs through Easter Candy Island. Should you ever find this island, you'll be treated like royalty and showered with the sweetest treats. Their most famous confection takes the buttery vanilla goodness of candy corn and mixes it with fruity marshmallow fluff A generous coating of coconut shavings and a drizzle of sweet cream perfect this treat. This is not an obtrusive, achingly sweet candy fragrance. In fact, we created this more as a layering base to give a creamy, tropical flair to complementary scents. This is a naturally light scent with whispers of tropical fruits.
